Senior Wellhead Technician

Reports to: Services Manager

Location: Aberdeen, UK

Well-Centric is looking for a Senior Wellhead Technician to execute installation, testing and maintenance of Xmas Trees and associated equipment in a safe and effective manner.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 5 years oilfield experience in a Xmas tree maintenance and testing discipline
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
  • Computer literate

Project Engineer

Reports to: Engineering Manager

Location: Aberdeen, UK

Well-Centric is looking for an enthusiastic and highly driven Project Engineer to join our team. This would be a dual role where the primary focus is in keeping the engineering projects on track, whilst also supporting the design team as well as offshore operations.

The right candidate will be highly motivated and eager to learn. Engineers at Well-Centric are responsible for every stage of the development process; from initial conceptual sketch’s, through design and analysis, to equipment assembly testing and offshore deployment. Due to the range of products that Well-Centric provide, our engineers gain valuable experience, in a variety of engineering challenges, as part of a small dynamic team.

The following is essential:

  • 3-10 years relevant experience essential, of which a portion involved design, manufacture and testing
  • Good level of proficiency in SolidWorks CAD
  • Degree or HND qualified in relevant discipline
  • Ability to fit in and work well in a team, but confident enough to work autonomously when required.
  • Hands on/workshop experience of building and testing equipment
  • Highly organised and ability to track several projects, milestones and deliverables
  • Proficient in performing engineering calculations
  • Experience with rapid turnaround on projects (e.g. 2-4 months from design to delivery).
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Remotely operated subsea tooling design.
    • Surface wellhead and Xmas tree equipment

The following is preferred:

  • Offshore experience
  • Available for immediate start

Mechanical Design Engineer

Reports to: Engineering Manager

Location: Aberdeen, UK

Well-Centric is looking for an enthusiastic and highly driven Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The right candidate will be passionate about what they do and have a real knack for problem solving. Engineers at Well-Centric are responsible for every stage of the development process; from initial conceptual sketch’s, through design and analysis, to equipment assembly testing and offshore deployment. Due to the range of products that Well-Centric provide, our engineers gain valuable experience, in a variety of engineering challenges, as part of a small dynamic team.

The following is essential:

  • High level of proficiency in SolidWorks with experience of FEA.
  • Degree or HND qualified.
  • Ability to fit in and work well in a team, but confident enough to work autonomously when required.
  • Hands on/workshop experience/ability.
  • Highly motivated and passionate about engineering.
  • Good knowledge of hydraulic systems.
  • Proficient in performing engineering calculations on pressure vessels, structural analysis, combined loading.
  • Experience with rapid turnaround on projects (e.g. 2-4 months from design to delivery).
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Remotely operated subsea tooling design
    • Surface wellhead and Xmas tree equipment design and testing.
    • Structural/environmental loading design and analysis.
