Unity is looking for an HR Manager to oversee the HR function and related policies and procedures and provide support for the Directors/ Managers. Full time or part time working considered based on a minimum of 3 days per week.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Knowledge of UK and Danish employment law
  • High level of confidentiality
  • In-depth understanding of HR processes
  • Minimum of 10 years in a high-level HR roles, ideally within the oil and gas industry
  • Must hold a CIPD qualification

Project Engineer

Reports to: Engineering Manager

Location: Aberdeen, UK

Unity is looking for an enthusiastic and highly driven Project Engineer to join our team. This would be a dual role where the primary focus is in keeping the engineering projects on track, whilst also supporting the design team as well as offshore operations.

The right candidate will be highly motivated and eager to learn. Engineers at Unity are responsible for every stage of the development process; from initial conceptual sketch’s, through design and analysis, to equipment assembly testing and offshore deployment. Due to the range of products that Unity provide, our engineers gain valuable experience, in a variety of engineering challenges, as part of a small dynamic team.

The following is essential:

  • 3-5 years relevant experience essential, of which a portion involving design, manufacture and testing
  • Good level of proficiency in SolidWorks CAD
  • Degree or HND qualified in relevant discipline
  • Ability to fit in and work well in a team, but confident enough to work autonomously when required.
  • Hands on/workshop experience of building and testing equipment
  • Highly organised and ability to track several projects, milestones and deliverables
  • Proficient in performing engineering calculations
  • Experience with rapid turnaround on projects (e.g. 2-4 months from design to delivery).
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Remotely operated subsea tooling design.
    • Surface wellhead and Xmas tree equipment

  • Offshore experience

Unity are looking for an enthusiastic and highly driven Senior Design Engineer to lead a small team. This role would involve implementing and expanding the engineering capabilities into a new location, reporting to the Engineering Manager.

The role includes implementing Unity’s standard engineering practices, interfacing with clients, supporting the existing design team as well as workshop and offshore operations. The right candidate needs to be highly motivated, organised and creative. Engineers at Unity are responsible for every stage of the development process, right from initial conceptual sketch’s, through design and analysis, to equipment assembly testing and offshore deployment. Due to the range of products that Unity provide, employees will be gain valuable experience in a variety of engineering challenges as part of a small dynamic team.

The following is essential:

  • 5-10 years’ relevant experience essential in wellhead/xmas tree/surface equipment, or process equipment design.
